Franks spook deer?

Had some deer spook on Franks pee. Anybody ever see this. The only explanation I could come up with is they might associate that smell with a crazy rutting buck! Guesses?

Did they possibly cut your track?

They walked right down the road that I came in on, with no problems. I'm not sure what it was. My buddy on a totally different set up had the exact same thing happen on the same evening. Maybe there had been a psycho doe in heat running around that area!

How much did you put out?

I only use a few sprays here or there.
Nothing crazy.

I'd bet if there are no does in rut it might be one odd smell , like being out if time/ place for what is going on.

I had bring in a decent 9 point on the gun opener.
Too young for my tag though.
