I'm looking at sample ballots this afternoon but I can't imagine not voting a straight ticket. I'll be voting next week.

My son and I will be voting in Tuesday. The wife will have to wait and go in Saturday while I am out hunting.

This is a very valid point but it makes me so angry. This country desperately needs a strong third party that can challenge the two party circus. I believe a great number of Republican voters actually align better with a Libertarian platform but feel like they can't afford to vote that way because it will effectively give votes to the Democrats.

A strong third party is nearly impossible unless the special interest money is removed from "the game". Highly doubt that will ever happen.

"We the People" might all have one vote but the money being pumped in by people like George Soros means our votes are being greatly marginalized! Donation limits need to be instituted and should only be allowed by actual persons and not corporations.

The 'party' system in general has really messed up voting politics as a whole & what it was meant to work as a public servant via elections.

My dream would be to see a system with no parties and the voting public had to actually understand, research & listen to what individual candidate's beliefs & core values were. I believe a strong 3rd party might benefit us some, but for certain the 2 party / voting straight red or blue lines HAS to be a major factor of why the nation has become so polarized & moving so far be it right or left. It's getting more and more creepy!! The radical left & chatter of socialism beliefs growing in the US is something I never thought would become so vocal & popular like it is now??

Unfortunately, I have to agree with this also.

Which is why Im writing in Joseph-Ignace Guillotin for every open position. I wont support a broken 2 party system.

I hear you, and that's a noble stance. But like Pedernal pointed out, until you get big money flowing in to a third party, it's a futile stance.
