Everything is outrageously expansive!! The colder weather killed one of my batteries as well. I was surprised it lasted 5 years. The new one ran $160 which includes free replacement for the first 3 years and prorated after that...

I have a fleet of 11 trucks. It seems that a battery is failing every month. I found that Tractor supply has 30 month free replacement. Just yesterday I got two batteries for F450’s for $88 and filed the receipt.

Put two new batteries on my 2015 diesel last week to the tune of 407 dollars. Total rip off.

Maybe has to do with the cost of what the battery company has to pay for EPA regulations?

Put a new battery in the Kia K900 last year. It was 2 foot long and 1 foot wide. No body anywhere made it and Kia only charged me $600.00................

All my Walmart batteries seem the go bad before the free replacement warranty runs out.

When I was running a diesel, I took it in before the free replacement ran out and always (as I recall) got new batteries as they always failed the load testing.

Seems to me the increase in battery prices is just about in line with new truck prices--
