    First Camera Help

Ok y'all!! Green horn is ready to commit. Which would your prefer?

    1) Canon EOS Rebel T5 DSLR Camera with 18-55mm Lens - $

    2) Nikon D3300 DSLR Camera with 18-55mm Lens (Black) - $446

    3) Canon EOS Rebel T5 DSLR Camera with 18-55mm and 75-300mm Lenses Bundle $500

    4) Canon EOS Rebel T5 DSLR Camera with 18-55mm Lens- $400

On both solo camera bodies, was thinking a 55-300 for around $250ish? I was told this is a better made lens then the ones that come with packages?

    Whats your thoughts?

The girl also showed me the mirrorless olympus E-MIo II w/ 14-42 (cant read her writing)
    $800

90-130 lense $106 totaling $900ish. This was waay more compact, and the "newer tech" but it didnt feel as good in my hand. Almost too small. But this is a bit out of price range for me I think.

I no nothing about the Nikons.

The Canon T5 is a good camera. And yes, You will find the the 75-300 lens in the bundle does not have IS (image stabilization) and some of your pictures may come out blurred and you'll find yourself wanting a better lens.

        I found this....
e Canon EOS Rebel T5 and Nikon D3300 are the newest entry-level DSLRs from the two largest manufacturers. Both models are designed to take great photos and to be easy to operate – especially for new users who are buying a DSLR for the first time. While both cameras will satisfy the DSLR beginner, our tests found that the Nikon D3300 comes out on top.

see if you can find one of the earlier Canon's T1i - T3i. I've always been a Canon fan. Bought the first DSLR that they had. Rated one of the best sensors out there, but have heard that the "5" isn't the same quality picture as the earlier ones. More features, but. Just what I've heard, no experience with them. If you want to look at the something like the olympus E-MIo II, there is a Canon EOS M for sale on here by Robby Brown. I've been looking at it and am very tempted to buy it myself. At his price, it is a very good deal.

I had my car broken into and my T5i stolen over the summer. I decided to go mirrorless due to the weight I could save while hiking. I've really enjoyed mine so far, and it takes some great pictures (for my purposes at least). Not sure what your budget is, but here's a pretty good price on a refurbished one.

                im still learning too

but I jumped up into a Canon 7D. its a larger camera than the Rebel line but I had my reasons to do so. Also the T5 is now an older camera. the t6 is out and Im sure they are working on the t7 now

check out these sites for some good idea on pricing and packages:
