I have a PSE Polaris Express bought around 1990, Mathews Legacy bought around 2002 and a Mathews Heli-M bought around 2013. The Heli-M is my main bow but the Legacy has the smoothest draw of any bow I've ever shot and I still take it out and shoot a few animals with it each year. The Polaris Express is my bow fishing bow now and it was the first brand new bow I bought.

2005 Switchback. I'll upgrade when it quits very effectively killing deer. Confidence is a huge part of success. I'm 100% confident with this one.

This is my 5th season with my Bowtech Assassin. Is there an average lifespan as a general rule? Considering upgrading, but not sure what the advantages are. Nothing really wrong with what I have.

I had a 2010 assassin, "upgraded" to an insanity and then bought another assassin. I couldn't get the feel for the insanity so I'll shoot my assassin till it quits killin. They're great bows.
