i have an 18.5 " barreled 243..and the same in 308...if your gonna target shoot wear ear protection ...but my 243 seems louder than the 308...no idea why...and my 44 mag wheel gun is louder than both of em.

Arrived today. I'm impressed so far. Have rings and just ordered a scope.

If anyone is on the fence, do it.

Trigger it adjustable 3 ways. Love it. The Manners stock (my first) is very, very nice and the recoil pad is just right.

As with all CZ's the action is a hair tight and loosens up nicely. The blueing is good and the balance feels just right. I'm looking forward to shooting it. I'm hoping it will group well with 180's.

Well, I do have one small complaint.

As nice as the stock/recoil pad is, it's about 3/4"-1" longer than I'd like for it to be. I don't see how there's an easy way to fix that, but I'm open to ideas.
