What is it. If you can tell me how itís provided. ? All we have is a AT&T phone line. Only other options would be satellite or tower.

Not one around Corsicana either. ATT has had a tower down here for 2 years and won't fix it. Hardly use your phone inside your house a few miles outta town.

See if you can get Rollcall. Veteran owned and operated, $35 a month for absolute UNLIMITED internet. Outside Lampasas, they are the best by far!

I have Rise Broadband. It only works about 50% of the time. try to call them, you get a recording that says "We are aware of the problem, we are working on it" Have called them at least 10 times this month. The service was independently owned before they sold to Rise. it was good then.

Nextwave wireless right there in Lindale. They are on the right if your headed North out of town. I've done a lot of work for them, building towers etc.. They are a point to point internet, but right there in that area, you don't have many options. If you want to PM me your address, I'll see what the closest tower is and what your shot would look like. Or you can have them come out and check,. Free either way. They will try and sale you service even if you have a weak signal. If they can't you a DB reading of less than 75, tell em to keep walking, your not interested.
Just saw you are west of Lindale, how far off 80??

Rise Broadband is horrible. We had constant outages and our usage went from less than 100Gb/month (we were allowed 300) all the way up to 1100Gb/month over the course of 6 months according to them. Yes you read that right 1.1 Terabyte. We were getting over $200 in overages per month and we changed NOTHING during that time. They said there was no way for them to track the days and times that the usage was supposedly happening or send me any sort of detailed statements.

We now have Nextlink for the past 6 months and haven't had any problems, not one outage and not even came close to that amount of data usage. We have unlimited now (Rise Broadband didnt offer unlimited) but still not even close.

Edit to add: Nextlink is also much faster. No delay in loading anything streaming. Never used to watch much streaming because of the speed and data cap with Rise but now we can watch whatever we want.

we have GVEC here in Gonzales that is supposedly 'high speed' but it is really just a little bit faster than the old dial up crap.
when I want to really get it going it just connect to my wi-fi Verizon and get it done.

Call Frontier. My Brother works for them and under certain situations they can provide 12MB "DSL" to some rural areas.
