If the bachelor groups have broken up, tickle horns sparingly. And maybe some doe and some doe on heat bleats. With the occasional buck bleat. No scents yet though.
Personally I would try to locate him with the cameras before I invested a ton of time into him yet. I kill more of my big bucks by being patient and waiting until they're in a consistent pattern than just peeing in the wind hoping they'll show up. Saves me a ton of frustration and keeps me from burning out, too.
It was a rough weekend to hunt for sure! I am 1.5 NE of you and I was out there and it was brutal. 92 degrees, 20-25 mph winds and a beyond FULL moon that was up for ever.
Lots of time left.
I hope you get a shot at him, but he has probably moved to my place, NOT!
That is a heck of a deer for anywhere! Hopefully we can see some LDP's of him!
