I heard Cabelas sent out notification to their pro staffers telling them they could not post photos of Africa animals or exotic kills. Not sure if this is true or not, but I hope not.

I think, and have always thought, that this merger is going exactly as planned. I think Cabelas was doomed the minute the ink was dry. No more competition from Cabelas for Bass Pro.

Someone was telling me the other day that there was a GW from up north (Michigan maybe?) that got let go for some picture of a monkey (baboon?) he killed on a trip to Africa

Most folks in Texas will not know that store but it is awesome. I went in one in Minnesota and was very impressed by the store and the staff that worked there. I heard rumor we were getting one somewhere around Dallas. One could only hope.
