    Kings off the Port Aransas Jetties

    Been doing real good lately at the Port A jetties fishing for kings, and was even lucky enough to land this 57” slab!

    Looks like you got them rocks figured out!! That's a helluva king anywhere much less off the rocks congrats.

                  Cool. Glad to see all the fresh water washing out of Corpus didn't effect the bite. Leave some for me. I'm coming back down in a couple weeks.

                      You only take the backstraps they're called King rolls and it's easy to see when you clean them - don't take anything else!!!!!! Kingfish balls are absolutley wonderful!!!!!(not the actual... the two long muscles that run full length of the fish on each side)

                        We caught them there about 20 years ago and with the diff weather cycles your gonna see stuff the Gulf hasn't seen in 20 years!!!! Wait till you see the Tuna runs!!

                          I went swimming on the 4X4 beach and I didn't even notice the Rays till I got out in the second gut - thousands and thousands and all over 200# they were actually parting to go around me and coming back into formation after me - Ill never forget that as long as I live!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
