Not necessarily. I have seen it happen several times where things magically speed up after a phone call, even if you are just told it is still pending. Probably not gonna happen every time but the guy who has been waiting since 16, yeah Id be calling just to bug the P*** out of them.

I pretty much call every week at this point. I have asked if it normally takes this long or if there is a reason as to why it's taking this long. I've heard every excuse under the sun.

I just called and found out mine was approved in early Feb. Don't know why my transferor never called me.
