Default New Pup (Breed Guess?)

Rescued my new pup yesterday. My plan is to train a hardworking blood tracker. The shelter classified him as a "Hound Mix". I think he is some variation of Redbone Coonhound. Maybe with some pitbull in him?

Im not sure. Wanted to see if the green screen had any guesses.

I'm not seeing pit. I do see a potential blood tracker. Good luck.

Could be some black mouth cur in him. They're great hunting dogs, very intelligent and relatively easy to train.

I agree that he's showing quite a bit of cur and very little pit. I am guessing that there might be a touch of Plott in there as well. I bet he is an escapee from a hog hunter somewhere nearby.
Adios,
Gary

50% bark, 75% dig, and 90% chew. Doesn't add up, but it will make sense. Good looking pup and I'm sure it'll be a good one. Doesn't look like much pit, but that doesn't usually show up in mixed breeds until they're over a year old, in my experience.
