They are taking advantage of their opportunities.

It can't be overstated how great of a pick up Lynn has been for this team. Blowing that one sucked, but they all do I guess.

Not sure what has happened to Santana lately. Dude is in a nasty funk.

I've been a bad fan since football started. I've been very pleased with Trevino, and Solak. Jurado has potential, but he's gotta figure some stuff out.

Jurado is a lot of suck IMO. If heís planning on staying in the bigs another year he might want to start figuring something out

Jurado gone after an inning and 2/3. Thank goodness they yanked home before he blew the 5 run lead he had.

Rougy finally got a hold of a pitch he could drive. He unloaded on one and deposited it just over the short right field wall in bottom of the 7th for a 3 run dinger.

Rangers hold on to a 10-9 win.

Trainwreck of a game, but a win. Good enough. LeClerc cannot be the closer next year.

Take a deep breath and relax. I think you're watching a replay of last nights game. As Coach Parcells used to remind us, you can only lose a game once. it'll all be okay.

Minor pitching like before the trade deadline. Everytime his offense evens the score or gives him a lead he gives up a multi run homer.

Could someone explain why with man on first and second and no outs and down one run in the ninth is odor swinging away instead of playing down a bunt to move the runners. May not end up tying the game but the end result was a typical strikeout by odor and then a double play.

Precisely
Pretty fundamental IMO. Guess Woody was afraid a tie wouldnít hold up anyway.

Only acceptable time to bunt is in a tie ballgame with a runner on second and no outs in the 9th inning. Also there has to be something on the line. When youíre not going to make the playoffs anyway itís just another game. Swing away!! Bunting is for pus*ies!

JD had a talk w/ young Mr. Calhoun a couple of weeks ago. Told him he expects Calhoun to report to camp even lighter and more toned next spring, to be faster and quicker, etc. The kid made a step up this year. If he does so again next year, he may be an average MLB player man. Maybe a little more. We shall see.

Yea I heard that. I know he has matured from when he threw a fit when he didnít make the team out of spring training, but never an excuse to loaf. Cost Tex a run

Grand Salami by Santana in a day game vs BoSox. 5-3 good guys in the bottom of 5th.
A small, very tiny late season highlight for my little Rangers
