We tried them about 10 years ago at our lease in Richland Springs, TX and the deer wouldn't touch them. After two months, we emptied all of the feeders and filled them back up with normal protein.

On our place they will eat the alfalfa pellets out of a trough before they touch the corn.Comment

I feed them in my pens and they destroy them, in the pasture they won’t touch them.
Make sure you find a well compressed pellet, otherwise you will have a lot of waste from them turning to dust.Comment
