    Texas flag upside down?

On Tuesday I'm looking out my 10th floor office window here in Ft Worth and notice 7-8 blocks away there are two flagpoles - one with the American flag and one with the Texas flag, but something catches my eye - the red field in the Texas flag is on the top - it's upside down. It starts bugging me so on my way home I find the place - a real estate office of some kind and call the nuimber on the sign, get a recording and politely tell them their Texas flag is upside down. Yesterday it was still upside down so I call and talked to some guy and a little more firmly tell him the flag is upside down and he needs to fix it. He said he would change it but there was a hint of "whatever, Dude" in his voice. I just looked and the flag is still upside down. I think I may have to pay him a visit...

Is it actually against the law? I gave the number to several of my co-workers who are going to start calling. We are going to keep ragging him till' they fly it properly.

I know there are some laws and restrictions on how the American flag must be flown and treated, I don't know about the state flag.....

I just figured they would take the situation seriously when a Law Enforcement officer stopped by or called......

When I graduated from Basic Training at Ft. Benning.....my dad noticed that the Texas flag was upside down.

He hollered at a soldier...."Hey you! You need to turn that flag right side up!"

"Hey you" was a Seargent Major.

He had it taken care of.....

Call the Chamber of Commerce, Star Telegram and the TV stations...

                  10 to 1 .... it'll be fixed

I fired a plant manager for hanging the flag upside down and then telling me "who cares" when I asked him to correct it....

                  I reckon he found out...

In that case, I would call the SWAT Team and have them check it out....

Imagine SWAT busting thru the door and a freeked out employee asking "what's going on here"...and the lead SWAT officer states "we saw the flag was upside down, we came as fast as we could"...
