persimmon and pomegranate

persimmons yes, yotes aslo. Pomegrantes I don't know.

Yeah the deer love the Persimmon trees on our farm. They will not really hit them though until after a really hard freeze. "Sourish" fruit turns really sweet after a freeze...

Yes on perm., I have a cluster of trees by my bow stand, and I always have deer eating there every year, peaks around mid Oct. Unusual though is the fact that the coyotes seem to eat them before the deer do though. I don't know about pomg.

thanks.. i have been looking into the pomegranate and cant seem to find anything about it relating to deer...

also i just talked to a lady that lives in the hill country with pomegrabate trees and she says that they will not eat the tree but when the fruit falls they will eat it... (just thought i would give some closuer to this..).
