    addicted to pallet wood

I saw this design online, scored two really clean red oak pallets and went to work. I found a scrap piece of 1/2" plywood for a two part lid. My wife bought this faux gator belly fabric from Walmart, next door neighbor put a sofa on the curb so I scored a cushion to stuff the lids. 220 sanding/staining and two weekends later done.Glued/screwed/sanded/stained and fabric total under $30.

Nice! I like working with pallets too. Kinda gave up on it lately though because I can't find a source around here with decent pallets. Everything is busted up and in poor condition. The internet makes it seem like their are good pallets everywhere!!! That hasn't been my experience lol

How well does this wood, once sealed (and what do you seal it with), last in the weather???

Nice job, can't show it to my wife.
She is obsessed with wood pallets?
