    Water stations

Its hot and dry out west, I'm wanting to build some water stations to keep my animals coming. Any pictures or ideas are greatly appreciated. I've never built one, but need to put in 3

I'm in too. I'm on a lease where water is scarce right now.

There's been a couple threads with pics in the DIY forum...maybe around the campfire too.

I have water totes that I run pvc to a horse waterer like you buy at tractor supply. I bury the waterer level in the ground.Been using them for 5 yrs. They work great & it does draw the animals in.

Go big if your deer density is high. 250g won’t last long. I run double 250 g totes and even that won’t last a month during the summer. Also the smaller the trough the less you loose to evaporation.

Here’s what I have on my place and some of them don’t have the block around the water bucket either. Pigs haven’t both them yet and they have been out over a year.

Put a rain catch system on them

Roysmoke-is that metal hose? And how long is it? Did you have to add connections?
