Looking to do some hog hunting on Public Land that is near me (we don't wanna bait hogs on our place) BAITING IS ALLOWED where I plan to go (local lake area) there are thickets of old growth trees, pastures, Salt Cedar brush thickets near water, ponds, dry creekbeds, river front, etc. so pretty much all types of terrain. Question is where do ya'll think I should start for good result?
I do know of a small watering hole off a river surrounded by thick brush cover and a few small mesquite trees that I was thinking about setting a pop-up blind or making a brush blind about 25 yards away.
