Creating a stump lick?

Anyone ever done this with any success? I have a stump that I'd like to try it on.

I put a mineral block on stumps and it works great

Several game trails began converging immediately on a several spots where I put salt blocks 2yrs ago and they have stayed heavily traveled and torn up since.

I poured some of that C'mere deer on a stump and the deer just walked past, it attracted ants and an occasional opossum. I pour it on corn and feed it by my feeder in a livestock dish and the deer come out of the woods and scarf it down pretty fast.

Buck jam works well or put a trace mineral block from any feed store on top. I like putting a trophy rock on mine, deer tear that thing up year round
