    July Photo Contest #119 introduction thread - Long Exposure

    Break out your tripods. Was already thinking about a night topic when I saw Casey's long exposure thread so let's go with that verbiage, leaves it a little more open ended.

    Be sure and get your cameras out this weekend for the fireworks.

    If you've been meaning to learn how to use your camera in manual, this is your chance. Ask questions if you've got them.

        Mostly, I take long exposures of stars, but not always.

            This is one of my favorite subject to shoot and even better subject for the up coming weekend.

                    I can't hold a candle to you guys with a cell phone but my daughter snapped this one of me chootin at last light with my Note 2 set for low light.

                              Canon T3i. 18-55 kit lens. Shutter speed on 10. Aperture on f8 or f9. ISO at 100. Tripod and a remote. No editing done on either.
