Snakes

Take a look what I found in the barn today. I thought they were dead but when I tried to straightened out the Coral it came out of the hole. I about broke my neck jumping out of the way. Ok, now what were they doing in a electric socket and what kind of snake is the brown one? What were they doing together? The coral snake was 28 inches long, maybe the longest I've killed.

The coral was probably trying to eat the brown. Not sure what the brown was is but good story.

The brown one is a Great Plains Rat Snake.

I hate snakes and don't know nor care to know much about them. In my house or around the house they die

Thanks Snakelover, thought it was something like that Guess the Coral was trying to get an easy meal. I just knew they were both dead being in that electrical outlet. The rat snakes head was in the hole in the pipe. I thought he was coming out of the pipe.

I can't believe you touched the snake (dead or alive) when it was inside the electrical outlet. You could have gotten TWO kinds of shocked.

That's just scary!! Sorry but any snakes scare the mess out of me!

One of the electricians here at work killed a moccasin in one of our junction boxes down by the lake week b4 last. Only thing we could figure was it was looking for a warm place.
