I had to run to San Antonio on Friday so I asked Jimmy if I could meet him on Friday afternoon. Jimmy not only met me on the ranch, he brought the skull plate with the antlers from this great buck so that I could hold them. Jimmy is a class act and a nicer fellow could not have killed this deer.
This buck is proof that a co-operative management program can produce big antlered mature bucks. If hunters and landowners can get on the same page, there is no need for high fences.
