What scope mount would work for my colt python 8 inch bought it with leupold scope but no mount any suggestions?

Does it come drilled and taped? If it's not one would be Insane to do it. Unless it's was beatcto heck and not with much value wise.

No it's not I thought it mounted to the rib on the barrel

Not sure on a rib mount nor would I be likely to trust it. Sell and buy 2 Rugers.
