    Aoudad Ewe Video

A buddy and I have been wanting to bow hunt some aoudad ewes for a while now. Finally had the opportunity this past weekend. We brushed in a spot 30 yards from the feeder and sat and waited. We had 6-8 ewes and young rams come in and I was able to pick out the biggest one.
I didn’t realize that right before I shot she moved her opposite leg way up. The arrow exited behind the shoulder but a bit further back than planned. I caught one lung and she died within 70 yards though.
I’ve really enjoyed filming my hunts, that way I’ll be able to enjoy them forever.

That was cool...looked a little back but apparently the results speak for themselves! Good job.

The arrow was definitely back. With the angle and the opposite leg location I released trying to exit the opposite shoulder. I never saw her take that step and the arrow exited about 6” back from center of opposite shoulder. Not very proud of the shot, but she was piled up in less than 70 yards, so I’ll take it!
