Ran into one of your members out hunting a week ago and looked up the forum. I bowhunt private mostly, but do get out closer to home to bowhunt some of the public areas from time to time just for the challenge. Bowhunted public for 5 years before I owned a deer rifle (26 years now) and used to hunt public land exclusively so intimately familiar with pretty much all of the public areas in North Texas as well as other parts of the State. Also OK and more recently bowhunted Elk in CO this year. I do hunt small game with my versatile Vizsla regularly on many of the public areas you guys talk about on the forum. I am "Sniper John" on the Texas Hunting Forum. I feel I may have a lot to contribute to at least this part of the forum and just wanted to throw out a hello first.
