*If you just got on the lease and plan on staying then let him walk for genetic purposes

*If you have an multi year protein program in place beyond his date of birth then let him walk because he will make something of himself a year or 2 beyond 5.5

*If you have been on the place awhile, no protein, and and he's 5.5 + then no question you take him.
