I think that's a tack rig in pipeline parlance, but I'm not sure. Us dirt movers weren't in their league (according to them) so I'm not certain.

We had a couple of pipelines the welders refused to run their rigs up the line,ut they would unbolt their machines, load them onto tracked equipment to weld the lines over some of the hills out west.

Morooka buggy. We use them on pipeline construction in really wet/muddy areas. Not just for welding, we load sand blasting rigs, skids, pretty much anything you want to get down the row that is too muddy for a truck.
