There are 2 species of ringnecks in Texas, prairie ringneck in the west and Mississippi ringneck in the east. Neat snake, don't see them often.

It was on the cart path at Brownwood Country Club. Looking for his ball I presume.

Cool. My wife's aunt and uncle live on the hill that overlooks the CC. Maybe they'll see one. Cool looking snake.

So you're saying ringtailer found a ringnecker?

It's been a long time since I've caught a ringneck snake. My cousin used to have a lot around the house. Especially out under junk they had piled up out in a field. They like junkyards and mostly live around creeks and rivers.

The most I ever caught in a day was 4 or 6 I think. I know it was at least 4.

Cool! I have never seen one of those. Count yourself in rare company.
