Really Cool! Thanks for helping out.

My fiancee handed me a bag of coats last night to throw in the truck (even though she is coming) so we are off to a good start. I know the folks at Niki Covers the Cold are really excited and thankful for our generosity to donate.

Heath, I know I have 2 or 3 XXL coats I can donate. I'll be sure to put them in the truck Friday.

Sweet! They need all sizes, but at all the events I have ever worked they needed the bigger sizes the most. They will find a good home and be much appreciated.

Will there be a designated drop off location? Just cleared my closet and have a few heavy winter pea coats, sweatshirts and even a brand new windbreaker jacket I cant fit anymore.

Team Nametag!

Glad to help, as a matter of fact, I'm making official Bownanza nametags for Niki Covers the Cold and I have volunteered Heath and Dr. D as reps.

Heath, do you have any other names for your "Team" that I need to make official Niki Covers the Cold volunteer nametags for?

Karla and I dropped off a pickup bed full of sacks on Monday night at the Toad. Owen and Sandi were shocked at how many bags of goodies we dropped off between my load and Dr. D's. We had a lot of people tell us that they had more to bring and didn't see the post, so next year we can collect even more.

A lot of people asked that we post information on the hand out locations and other events so they could get involved which we will do. Niki Covers the Cold are very good people, just like the people of TBH and are very appreciative of the donations that we made.

I want to thank everyone that donated items and stopped by to talk to my mom throughout the day. Yall rock!

Dang Heath, I totally dropped the ball on this one. I know we've got some stuff at the house, from sizes the boys have outgrown to ones Jennifer and I don't wear anymore. Please make a mental note to give me a call a couple days before you're in my neck of the woods again, and we'll try to get together.

I'm also sorry I did not see that your mom was at Bownanza. In my hurry to get back for baseball games on Saturday, I missed out on a lot.

Over the past few weeks I've seen several people wrapped in blankets near downtown and near the stockyards.
