Ouch is making beer batter for the gizzards. We won't need but one shaker box.

We're also working on a surprise for everyone...

And it's not nearly as weird and perverted as he makes it seem.

For the "purists", it's no skin off my back to forget about the beer battering, if you guys prefer to go dry. I reckon that can be a spur of the moment thing, given that we'll have all the accoutrements on hand anyway.

The grease will be bubbling in 50ish hours... lookin' forward to it.

I'd hold off on the beer batter. Typically, the seasoned flour work well enough. If we get a wild hair, we can mix up the beer. I'm picking up peanut oil today at lunch from the local Academy. I think we went through roughly two gallons in the past. Someone please correct me, if I'm wrong.

I have word from a reliable source that some cock has been purchased . . . .

Looking forward to it, gents . . . .I will be arriving approximately 730pm tomorrow night with Frank the Elder.

PLEASE say hello to Frank for me Chris. Just thought I would check the thread and again say "I can't believe I am going to miss this again!"

Looks like you guys have it all very well handled. Have a blast! Hope the weather holds out. Might be a bit chilly and wet. No matter, Dale's fryer could hit 500 degrees in Antartica!

D~Mo, we had them tubes put in my Grandsons ears a while back and it was a piece of cake. I mean easy peasy. Boy went home and didn't have any issues and played, and heard, like there's no tomorrow.
We'll keep him in our prayers.

Leon... We drink beer, not malt liquor. 12 or 16 oz., not a forty in a paper sack.

Got to tell you. Haven't had "real" fried food in two years. Gave it up for lent and just figured it wasn't too bad, so just didn't take it back. Had the gizzards on Sat, and it was worth breaking the "tradition" Good job. My little one loved the "chicken nuggets" too.

Thanks

Big props to all members of team gizzard. As always, it was a pleasure, and I look forward to doing it again, next year. You, gentlemen, are top notch.
