Unless that is a really tall street light, the moon phase and date of the picture don't seem right. Picture shows an almost full or full moon. On Feb. 8th we had a waning crescent moon. I might be wrong. Picture is cool none the less.

I'm not a photography guy or photoshop buff, and have absolutely no reason to doubt the man... So, my guess is that the extended exposure time may make it look as if it's a full moon.

Clearly the end of an era, (with no new US launch vehicles in the short term budget). I'm planning on making it out there for the STS-131/19A launch, currently scheduled for April 5th.
