6-7 year old Stag ( non functional testicles ). He never sheds or rubs his horns and they continue to grow like annual tree rings. He has diminutive genes and if he did have functional testicles, he would probably still be an old spike.

An "antlered doe" or a buck that's lost his coin purse... They mostly won't ever get out of velvet nor shed their antlers. It takes a boost in testosterone for a buck to stop growing velvet and a drop in T to shed antlers. (I may have that backwards). At any rate, no cods = year round velvet.
