Great time--thanks for the share. Brings back memories of a buck I shot many years ago and it crossed onto the next place. I had to go home and call the landowner (before cell phones even) to get permission, which he gave. Since it was a school holiday, I picked up my son and took him along for the experience. I put him on the blood trail and I was watching ahead in case we bumped the buck. After a bit, I hear him call in a shaky voice out of the brush, "Dad, there he is".

Hard to beat memories with kids.
