      Any EASY bachelor casserole recipes?

Not exactly the made-from-scratch you may be looking for, but PDQ meals are super easy and very good! There are a bunch of different ones, and they have double or family sized batches. Great for a quick (basically)home cooked meal to keep in the cabinet. We use deer meat and the chicken ones use canned meat.

If you don’t have a pressure cooker, you should think about one, they’re lifesavers when it comes to dishes and time.

Pressure cooker deer steak and potatoes

        -Season deer steaks,
-pour a cup of any concoction of water and seasons, beef/chicken broth in the bottom
-put the steaks on the rack inside
        -peel(or don’t) and cube potatoes
        - put potatoes in an aluminum foil pouch on top of the steaks
        -add butter, seasoning in potatoes
-pressure cook on high 10-12 minutes depending on how you like your steaks

Chilaqeles- fast and good for a lunch with a little self control.

Stir fry w chicken is super easy from scratch. Cook some rice and meat, millions of quick recipes out there for a sauce.
We also make spicy chicken Alfredo pretty often from scratch. It’s just some heavy cream, Parmesan, cream cheese and a few other things. It only takes a few more minutes than opening a jar. It’s rich and great for cold days. (Impressed my now wife back in the day with these).
Tom yum soup from a powder base is amazing, add some tomatoes, meat, mushrooms and it’s ready.
We also make a lot of pad Thai, which only requires lemon, cilantro, peanuts, rice noodles, sugar, fish sauce, egg and ginger. Takes about as long as spaghetti.
Gyros with marinated venison, tatziki, cucumbers tomatoes lettuce in a gyro. Fry up some falafel, which is just ground chickpeas and spices to make it pop. These freeze well uncooked as well as fried.
Buy an instapot and search some recipes or join a group online- those things are amazing and fast. My wife makes lamburgers in it and they are so juicy.

              Tuna casserole.
              Big can of albacore
Big bag of ruffles tater chips
              Big bag of shredded cheddar
2 cans of cream of mushroom soup
one can of peas and carrots.

Crush the tater chips and line a pyrex bowl with them
Layer peas/carrots and tuna covered with cheddar.
top with chrushed tater chips and repeat til all used up and final topping of cheddar.

Bake until cheese is browning on top and casserole is bubbly hot.

Enjoy your 20 minutes worth of work.

Canned shredded chicken breast works as well.

1/2 a link of deer sausage. Brown it in a skillet.
1 can of corn or green beans. Heat however you like
Cut sausage into small pieces and put in a bowl with corn or green beans.

This kept me alive for months when I was a bachelor! lol

I started making this several years ago when my wife would be working out of town and my almost 18yo son was then 3 or 4. He called it.....

                  Man Casserole

                  (1#) hamburger
                  (1/2) purple onion
                  (1) jalapeno
                  (1) can Ranch Style Beans
                  (1) can whole kernel corn
                  chopped cilantro
                  grated cheese

Brown the hamburger, sliced up onion & jalapeno in a skillet, drain any excess grease, add the RS beans & corn until thoroughly heated then add cilantro and cheese to suit. Cornbread is a great accompaniment.

Not a casserole, but awesome nonetheless

                          Cook Macaroni or shells

                          Brown ground sausage
                          Add in a chopped onion
Add in a can of diced Itallian style tomatoes
Add in a handful of fresh spinach or kale. (Very optional)
Let it cool a bit and add a cup of half and half.
Season to taste with cajun blaze and pour it over the noodles. It’s awesome
