I saw this one on the last day of the season so I know he's still around. 4.5 year old 13pt. Not very big but he looks cool and any mature buck is a trophy in this area. There's a couple more but I don't have pics of them right now.

Saw this guy twice while hunting. One time at 15 yards but he fed facing me the entire time. We are pretty sure he survived the season - hope to see what another year does for him

Iím going to be chasing this guy hard, next year. Never saw him while i was hunting this year and most pics were at night. Heís with 6 other bucks hitting a food plot right now, so l figure heíll be around next year. Heís missing a side or Iíd send an arrow through him.

Thinking he was 150ish this year and most likely a 4 year old. He ought to be a real hoss next year.

Heck yeah!

Im still trying to figure out how your deer get so big and ours only get to a certain size. We are basically along the same line of or type of terrain.

We have a Muzzle Loader only season here Jan 8-21st.
From what i know of my neighbors, this is a homegrown, natural food only deer. None of my neighbors feed protein. Only two other corn feeders within a mile of this location.
We have all been trying to get on the same page with managing the herd.
I do believe that i will set up a single free choice protein station just to see how they take to it.

Man, Im gonna tell you what our biologist said, take it for what its worth. He said, he would rather we mowed and fertilized the natural vegetation, over plots and protein feed. So we do all 3, kinda. The biggest killed so far is a 160 10pt. I saw one I think would go more, but a gun hunter killed it.

The way I look at it, the more you do the better it is for the deer. Give them as many options as possible.

ML, yeah what was I thinking? Lord have mercy.

Appreciate the posts

Hereís another one that I hope made it. I donít think anyone killed him, unless he was shot off of the gravel road after season or did some roaming!

Another good sized 8.
