        If you are friends with the dog door person, ask if you could come over and wait . Have wife let him out. If he comes through the dog door through a glass of water in his face and do some loud yelling to scare at him. Might take a couple times. This should discourage him from coming back.

          Use pvc to run the wire through. My dogs can jump the fence but I put that up years ago and don't even turn it on anymore. Lol. They learn their lesson pretty quick

            No not friends but friendly , I just purchased everything , just got whole story, today , he has female lab in heat , he was going through there dog door, getting some, and enjoying there bed for a nap afterwords lol, I guess he was watching me

                  It will work! A few years back one of our boxers liked to dig out. Put one up and he hit it twice. I turned it off and he never dug out again.
