What are you feeding to get those kind of growth results

This was a 3yo(we thought) 8pt LAST year that we decided to pass on in December after seeing him a few times. This deer had a good spread and decent tine length, etc. Seeing him now he MAY have been 4 last year. I guess every once in a while a 3-4yo 8pt will blow up. He is a low 160's 13pt this year.

Letting them grow up more than anything. But, yes they have all the Antlermax they can eat.

Another example for all the "cull" happy hunters out there. Let them grow up and they will surprise you.

Definently makes you think long and hard about the better framed 8pt 3yo's. This deer was on the hit list last year and after Segbert and I got our eyes on him a few times we had to let him walk. Happy we did.
