This site will tell you how much rain your ranch, farm, etc...has received including history back to 10 years. It will also give you your soil type. It also has alot more functions if you actually farm your land.

Its free but you have to sign up. I just signed up and its pretty cool to see rainfall amounts YTD vs Average on your piece of property.

easy. give them an email address that you never check/use for spam. having multiple email addresses is a good thing in this day and age.

it's a great tool for those who live too far away from their land to keep up with rain gauges and from everyone that does live close enough/on their land, it's amazingly accurate.
