Who's in this year? I'll be bringing fish and will also take care of all the shirts again.

Not this year. I've been catching lots of hardheads but there's not much meat on them.

So forgive my ignorance, but how does this work? We just agree on who is bringing what and each team cooks something? Like a cookoff type deal?

Pretty much. I'll bring fish, some chairs, a pop up canopy. We'll need other stuff, plates, oil, paper towels, and everything else. We also get t-shirts made. Last year I think they were $8-10 apiece.

Do y'all mind doing a roll call so I start getting a grip on names? I suck at remembering names, so I'll need some study time!

I think we got 3 or 4 Mikes, few Jeff s, couple Phillips, and some more peeps with like names.

More of the 'long timers" will start trickling in as time goes by. We're a well oiled machine . The supply list will offer all participants the opportunity to fit in somewhere. And those that don't have any thing to bring can always pitch in a hand. But seems like there is always something to bring anyway .

Right now, I've got my hands on making some home made spicy cheesy potato soup. Cut-n up 5 different types of peppers to go in it now. They should warm things up a bit.

Two years ago,we had over 800 sign up for Bownanza. And about 750 picked up their name, tags. That way we know how many attended.

That's a lot of names to learn . That's why ya need to come every year. And even if we have a low turnout, ya still not enough time to get around to see-n everybody. Coming to the Friday night pre-party party helps. I'll be stay-n at the Hilton this year.

Hey Mike, so how are we gonna be able to split up our time between teams Fisheads and Grumpy Old Farts?

Btw, I'll see about gathering up some hush puppy supplies. Do we still have the recipie? Jeff says he ain't gonna make it down so I'll do what I can to help out on the puppies.

1. That's an easy one Geoff. Team GOFarts comes naturally with some folk, like you and me . I'm a proud member this year . And GoFarts will need a designated place. Why not with Team Fish Heads. Course they/we could be semi-mobile too. Just not as much as the young folk .
2. Mamma Berry's Hush-puppy recipe is never far .
3. on Jeffy.

Mike, Susan and I will be there. I've picked up a cooker like Clint's and plan on bringing it along with whatever else we need to.

I think I can qualify to be a member of GOFs by just showing up!

I'm in again.
I'll look the list over and see what I still have to contribute.

My wife will make homemade tarter sauce again and I'll tell her to make more than she did 2 years ago. So put me down for that at this time. I'll check my inventory this weekend.

How about no more than 65lbs total raw fish this year? We need to put a cap on the number of lbs of fish we bring this year. We had way to much uncooked fish left over. And barley got all that was cooked eaten.

GR5 has stated he will be there again this year . Looking forward to it Mr. Mike!

As long as it's ok with everybody, I figured we'd keep the same motto. This years shirts will have some more graphics, but we can keep the same color.
