It was incredible for years, we would have over 200 deer in our wheat field in the afternoons. Nobody ever believed us til they seen it for themselves. Everything went south for us when the big Ft Chadbourne ranch sold up and high fenced and cut many of our deer off. Then the oil wells came in and they drilled 18 on our 600 acres. Needless to say it wasn't nothing like it used to be but there are still alot of deer around there. Just depends on the property. Turkey hunting was usually good as well but they would come and go sometimes.

Been in crews now for 13 years. Deer hunting was awesome until the drought. Hit or miss. Hogs always good. Turkeys are fantastic.
