For the last 30+ years going to West Texas we started stopping first at Oak Ridge for Jerky. Then we found Kasper's Meat Market in Weimar and that's all we ever went to from then on. We would pickup fresh steaks along with Jerky for the trip to the lease.
Highly recommended. If I remember right you take the Weimar exit then cross the railroad tracks and make a left. Go to the next light then make a right. Go down that road then there will be a general store that I believe is blue on the right. There you make a left and Kasper's is in the middle of the block on the right.
