Need Camera Help Fast! Wife's Birthday Sunday

I know there are countless camera threads on here, but my wife has a bday on Sunday and she is hinting that she wants a camera for the family. I have been so busy with work and starting a house build, that I have not bought her a gift. Plan to order one this morning off Amazon to be here by Saturday.

Neither of us have a desire to dive way off into photography. Really looking for a camera that can do decent for anything. Family photos, sports, hunting, etc. I would love something to have decent zoom for ground blind hunting and taking to Africa with me next summer.

Would really like to stay around $500. Thanks for any help.

Looking at the Sony Alpha Mirrorless
    Canon SX60HS
    Also interested in Nikon

I recently bought a Canon SX60 HS. I'm still overwhelmed with all its features, but it does have a 65x zoom when you include the digital. Really too soon to give a review.

We provide all types of services to suit all your NEEDS such as nikon d7500, canon 80d body, nikon d500 body and more.

This is one of the cams I was looking at. How are the pics at extended zoom?

Justin--I am not an expert by any means so my opinion won't mean much. Here is one pic I took at max zoom. Range was about45-50 yds.

If you want to try a DSLR, I'd try the Canon Rebel frame or Nikon D3400. You can get frame and 2 lens kits for $500+ from amazon or best buy. Grab a couple extra batteries and roll.
