I have seen a grand total of two deer in the last 10 hunts. This is just too frustrating for me. Perhaps it's time to just start my exercise program in expectation of the new year and forget about hunting.

Perhaps Dec. 1 would be a good exercise start date.

I use to have a place to hunt till it got sold two years ago. Don't call it quits for this year. Stick to it, I'm living vicariously through ya'll that have a place to hunt this year.

Todd, I had the same experience last year. I hunted and hunted and saw NOTHING all year from October through November. Finally, on December 4th I actually saw this buck during daylight - the first buck I'd seen all year. Keep after 'em.

I know how you feel. It is a really tough year. The acorns are killing me. I am at the point of wondering if I am hunting hard or wasting time. I have really been trying to get a good buck but they have all but disappeared. About ready to start dropping some does. That is if I see them. Hang in there.

That's hunting. Good luck Todd, I have been skunked I don't know how many time so far. But I won't pick up a rifle, it will make it so much more worth it to do it with my bow.
