What’s everyone’s experience with timber company leases? I’m planning on joining one this coming season and would like to hear some first hand experience. From the looks of it I assume everyone in ETX is on timber company land

A lot of ETX leases are timber land. Some really good and some really really bad.

Lower number of hunters/acre is going to be better obviously. Do you have a particular lease in mind or just looking?

You near lake Athens? If so this buck went 187"!

Looks very similar to a local plumbers buck that was killed on Nov 4 I believe.

Same area I hunt. There is absolute giants in Harris County the problem is finding property to hunt. I tried emailing Lake Houston park in New Caney asking if in the future they would consider allowing bow hunters, but of course that got shut down fast.

Guy named Daniel Stringer that has 30-40 acres on Lake Athens Killed him.
