Polaris Ranger Check Engine light

I have a 2011 800 XP and the check engine light is coming on and off erratically. The ranger runs fine but when the light comes on I lose rpms, speedo, temp gauge, and gear indicator. But never a loss of power.

Strange thing is it does it at random times. Might stay on for 3 seconds. Sometimes 2 minutes. I have checked for any bare or broken wires and all I found was a broken wire coming out of the stator. Spliced it back together but still no change.

Im really at a loss on this one.........

Anyone ever had this happen before?

I think its a speed sensor. Mine does the same thing, but I've never worried about fixing it.

So obviously no long term effects? How long has it been doing it?

You think it’s the TPS needs adjusting or the Hall Effect sensor?
