    Drones At Harvey

My team and I have been training for events larger than local emergencies.. Didn't know what we were building up for.. Last week was long and intense.. No doubt thousands will never be the same..

ABC News' Gio Benitez reports on how drones are being used in search and rescue operations and to inspect the levees protecting neighborhoods from flooding in Texas.

I doubt this really applies to people such as yourself who have been training and know the predations to take in these situations. But, our aAir Stations were trying to get people to stop flying drone around search and rescue areas. They are apparently an issue when they fly into our rotors.

Ya, we tried to get them to stop in our airspace too. All of our flights were coordinated with the SOC and we had ATG Comm's as well with all Helo pilots..

I thought some of those areas looked familiar.
