Another post on here inspired me to do this. I can't remember who but thanks to them anyways. I film all my hunts and when I scout so I'm n a ground blind a lot. I really only bow hunt so I need all the foot room as I can get cause I'm 6'4" . My tripod was always in the way and never where I needed it to be when the shot would present itself. So here goes. I bought 4' of 3/4 aluminum square tubing from depot and a can of plasti-dip for final touches. 22$ I went to ace hardware and got the nylon bushings the square end caps and the 3" 1/4 x20 stainless steel bolts with nylon lock nuts.oh also a thumb screw 1/4x20 also . 12$. I already had an old tripod hat was broke so I used the top for the camera mount. " cheated" was a 50$ camo Nikon from sportsmans warehouse .
