Twin Buttes Javelinas

Anyone have any insight or knowledge of the Javelina population out there?

I know back when I was in college we saw them out there, probably 2006 or so.

They trickle through some, but I wouldn't say there are just a ton of them running around. They are definitely more likely found on the western side of TB lands. I spent many of days out there and have only ever got them on camera 1-2 times never saw one in person.

I shot at one out there once and missed

The last 2-3 years I have caught them on my game cameras. Mostly night pics but once in a blue moon they would roll through my setup during the day. Never saw one in person though.

I think there are more west of O.C. Fisher . Then twin buttes

Like others have said they’re out there just not in abundance at least not where I hunt. I have seen them couple times but mostly night time pictures

for what it's worth they travel the red arroyo that runs through town. we had one wander in to the landscape nursery on knickerbocker and chase one of my employees 3-4 years ago.
