I love axis meat but it's starting to get to the point where I'm wondering how much it is to shoot an Angus calf

You can find doe hunts for $250-$300. Actually came across one recently last week on Facebook Bowhunter page. See if I can find it for you.

T4 Exotics. Site sponsor so the webpage/phone number is handy. Not $200, but close. Very nice place and very nice people.

$300 for Axis doe and $200 for Black Buck doe is some of the better pricing I've seen lately

But the $125 day rate minimum 2 days makes it $550 so nothing special at that point

Haha. A few years ago after looking hard I found some $350/doe hunts. Got to $400 pretty quick and now most places are $500. I think $500 is about the price where I started losing interest.

I occasionally pickup a live sale for 150ish but hunt for $200 will be tough to find.

I'll pay $600 for a red deer hind first. More meat and dang near as good to eat. If not as good.

Hard to find one that cheap. This is going rate for one already butchered wrapped and ready to eat. All though I believe I could carve out more than 21 pounds from one if I butchered it.

Seems like we have two choices...

We can call for a TBH boycott on axis hunts or you guys stop looking for hunts so the decreased demand will allow for reasonable prices for me

I'd be looking for cow elk/red deer hind hunts. Ain't much more, but quite a bit more meat.

Ill do 4 does for $1350 lodging, caping, and quartering, no meals. That's the best I can do with them being around $400 live sale. No website just a facebook page: Winger Ranch.

Saw on FB a ranch out in Bracketville, Hidden Canyon Ranch. The guy quoted me $300 for axis or blackbuck doe. Lodging and meal included, however i was looking for a group rate of like 6-7 guys. Idk if it will effect your smaller group

It's a rifle hunt but $200 does, $2,000 bucks (any size), low fence in Comfort TX.

Meals and lodging are on you. Closest accommodations are in Kerrville, ~20 minutes away. Been 100% opportunity.
